Black & White by Kenneth Clarke: This original photo was captured during a visit to the Valley of Fire State Park, near Overton, Nevada. Entering the park from its western entrance, I came upon this lone, rather emaciated Desert Bighorn Sheep. As I approached him while he was munching on the remains of some rather dead and dried up roadside vegetation, he looked up at me just long enough for me to capture this shot. He was in such bad shape that even his horns seemed to be suffering from years of malnutrition. I hope the goat was reported to a sanctuary. Poor thing.
